Job Description

Make an impact as a Senior DevOps Engineer with Azure DevOps (AzDO): work on standardising DevOps processes within Rabobank, improve the user experience, and help teams collaborate more efficiently.

You & your role

As part of a squad within Area Consumer Interaction, Tribe Tech4Engineering, we enhance user experience and alignment in work-item management using Azure Boards. We collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, Agile practices (Chapter Simplify @ Scale), and other Azure DevOps squads.

Our mission is to standardize Azure DevOps Boards, enabling easy onboarding and consistent processes across teams. By moving from customized setups to a unified approach, we support better alignment with Portfolio Management—while navigating challenges in decision-making, communication, and rollout across Rabobank.

This makes us the leading squad in work-item management, actively contributing to cross-Tribe initiatives and improving connections across Domains. We aim to balance standardization with autonomy, allowing squads to work efficiently and independently.

Practical examples

You guide the transition from diverse customised processes to a single uniform Azure DevOps approach.

You implement new extensions and services that make engineers’ daily work easier.

You work with Portfolio Management and other squads to achieve cross-tribe alignment.

Achieve standardisation of Azure DevOps processes by configuring teams, boards, and security settings, so teams can start quickly and securely.

Develop and implement automation solutions and extensions that contribute to a uniform and efficient way of working within Rabobank.

Lead and coach team members on technical and procedural challenges, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you are involved in designing solutions and guiding implementation, with plenty of room for your own initiative and innovation.

You & your talent

In-depth experience with Azure DevOps configuration and its REST APIs.

Experience configuring teams, boards, and security groups in Azure DevOps.

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) and .NET programming or similar experience.

Guiding more junior members of the team regarding Rabobank Processes and Policies
