Senior Manager Labour Law and Labour Relations
Location: Frankfurt
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager Labour Law to lead the organisation’s labour relations strategy and ensure compliance with employment law. Serve as the go-to expert for individual and collective labour law matters across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on all employment law issues and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
Develop and maintain group-wide labour law policies and standards.
Manage relationships with national and European works councils and lead negotiations on agreements, restructurings, and social plans.
Support legal aspects of restructuring, transformation, and M&A projects.
Shape and coordinate the group’s collective bargaining strategy in Germany.
Guide and support local HR teams on labour and collective bargaining matters.
Monitor legal and industrial relations developments and recommend strategic actions.
Oversee external legal counsel and promote collaborative relations with employee representatives.
Qualifications:
Qualified lawyer with a focus on labour law and 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an international industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of German labour law and collective bargaining structures.
Proven experience with co-determination bodies and complex restructuring projects.
Strategic thinker with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in German and English.
