We are currently working on a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a market leader within Data Centre Sector! This role sits at the heart of the design, construction, and commissioning of mission-critical data centre projects — working closely with the Engineering Director and wider delivery teams to ensure complex MEP systems are designed and executed to the highest standards.

Working with the Engineering Director, Construction Director, Commercial Managers and Commissioning Agents to ensure consistent approach to the MEP design, delivery and commissioning lifecycle.

Engage with the Engineering Director, Construction Director and Commercial Managers throughout the General Contractor tender and procurement process

Review designers and contractor drawings with contract requirements

Attend and lead meetings with General Contractor, Designers, team members etc

Contribute to the Project Reports and attend Project Meetings

Check ongoing installations for compliance with contract requirements

Work with commissioning managers to ensure the commissioning scope for each project meets the customers requirements

Take part in formal Quality Audits of completed projects

Work closely with Sales, Engineering Solutions, Project development to ensure the customer commitments are translated into engineering design for tender and procurement.

Suitable candidates will have a Degree in M/E Engineering and relevant experience in design, delivery, commissioning of large and complex projects. A strong understanding of construction and development, contract management, planning and scheduling. Previous data centre experience is preferred.
