Activities Coordinator
Career Concepts is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join a senior living community. This individual will plan, organize, and lead recreational and social activities that enhance residents' quality of life. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with others, especially seniors.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs for residents
Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet diverse needs and abilities
Assist in setting up and cleaning up after activities and events
Maintain accurate attendance records and assist with reporting as needed
Collaborate with the management team to plan special events and outings
Ensure activities are conducted in compliance with company and state regulations
Support the manager with administrative or program-related duties as requested
Qualifications and Skills
Prior experience working with seniors, children, or in a caregiving/recreational setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Outgoing, positive, and team-oriented personality
Creative thinker with the ability to motivate and engage others
Dependable and able to follow directions
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with activity setup
Benefits/Compensation
Full Time
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Wed: 10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
One Saturday per month, (Up to) 4-hour shift
$20+/hr based on experience
Temp to hire position
