Apple's SAR Engineering team is looking for an engineer to work on RF Exposure (SAR/MPE) characterization across different wireless technologies for Apple's wireless products.- Work closely with in-region CM/Factory counterparts and internal teams in planning/executing on product development and validation activities.
* Travel to in-region CM/Factory locations to debug the issue and bring up the test setups.
* Understanding device to device variation by characterizing radiated and conducted KPI's and performing marginality analysis.
* Validating RF Exposure test cases for different regulatory domains in certification test setups.
* Translating WW regulatory requirements into test cases.
Coordinating with regulatory compliance teams to ensure product validation covers all certification tests.
* Define/execute validation plan for RF Exposure facing SW features.
* Debugging marginal/failure tests with cross-functional teams like RFHW /Antenna/ Product Design/EE and drive design changes to address issues.
* Maintain test setups via periodic checks and calibration.
* Help Regulatory Compliance teams in planning/executing on final certification testing at 3rd party test labs.MS degree in technical discipline with minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.
Working experience of antenna design and tests, in particular hands-on experience for compliance measurements.
Experience with 5GmmWave standard and/or hands-on chamber/system level understanding.
Experience with Antenna/EM simulation tools.Array
