Education and Experience:
Must have current Texas Licensed in Vocation Nursing
Have ability to apply the principles of current nursing information
Have good understanding of the theories of mental health and illness
Have psychiatric experience or other social services agency, preferred
Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable
Job Purpose:
To provide general and routine nursing services providing for the optimun health of the individuals who have a range of mental health issues
Must work as part of a team of professional and medical staff
Will support people with issues ranging from anxiety, depression to personality and health issues
Job Function:
Assessing and planning nursing care requirements
Visiting patients at home
Combating stigma and helping patients and their families manage it
Writing and updating patient records
Performing risk-assessments
Ensure timely documentation in Electronic Health Records
