Job Description

Kable Staffing is hiring a Banquet Servers in Columbus, OH. This position is full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.

Set up banquet rooms, tables, and serving stations according to event specifications.

Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.

Clear tables, glassware, and dishware promptly and discreetly during events.

Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed.

Collaborate with kitchen staff and banquet captains to ensure smooth service.

Assist in breaking down and cleaning banquet areas after events.

Respond promptly to guest requests and provide solutions to enhance their experience.

Follow all company policies, procedures, and grooming standards.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience as a banquet server, catering staff, or in food & beverage service (preferred but not required).

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Flexible schedule — must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by events.

Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Food Handler’s Permit or Alcohol Service Certification (where required by state/local law).

Ability to move or lift to 50+ lbs.

Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.

Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.

Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time

Communication skills.
