Job Purpose:
Perform duties as necessary to provide world class equipment reliability in a safe and cost-effective way. Perform preventative maintenance daily to ensure that equipment is safe and up to date.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to learn the functionality of plant equipment
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Knowledge in electrical, wiring and plumbing
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
Level 1 Expectations:
Requires almost constant supervision in Day-To-Day Tasks
Capable of replacing lightbulbs and correctly lubricating machinery
Pivotal to averting operational setback
Foundational understanding of technical aspects and a vigilant approach to safety measures
First line of defense against equipment failure and other issues. Vigilant with routine checks in maintaining operational efficiency
Good communication skills to include face to face, emails, teams
Effectively use the CMMS program
Level 2 Expectations:
Excel in identifying and fixing issues that aren’t immediately apparent.
Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance to prevent potential breakdowns and ensure equipment longevity
Advanced understanding of machinery and systems
Ability to use specialized tools to diagnose and remedy faults in complex equipment
In depth understanding of pneumatic systems and precise execution to avoid costly downtime
Ability to complete chemical testing to predict mechanical wear and tear and steps to optimize machinery lifespan and performance
Supporting continuous improvement
Level 3 Expectations:
Requires little – to – no supervision in day-to-day tasks
Ability to train new process technicians with no supervision
Advanced understanding of mechanical systems and equipment dynamics, with deep hands-on experience
Expertise in cutting edge diagnostic equipment that allows them to see beyond the surface and diagnose issues before they manifest
Ability to rebuild equipment, this involves deconstruction and reconstruction of machinery to ensure it meets or exceeds original performance standards.
Ensure equipment is functional and fully compliant with the latest safety environment standards
Manufacturer specific knowledge that allows them to understand the most intricate details and make advanced interventions in machinery and system.
