Job Duties
Lead and oversee the survey department, including workload management and process improvement
Perform field work including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking
Manage projects from proposal development through delivery
Build and maintain client relationships
Establish effective coordination with project managers and design staff
Develop strategies to grow the survey department client base
Improve efficiency in field and office survey operations
Complete complex survey projects including ALTA/ACSM land title surveys
Qualifications
Wisconsin Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license with 5+ years of experience
Proficiency with GPS equipment, robotic total stations, and specialized survey instruments
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office software
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in surveying, engineering, or related field
Project management experience with proposal and cost estimate development
Valid driver's license with ability to travel to project sites
Experience with ALTA/ACSM land title surveys and subdivision plats preferred
Experience working with municipalities, counties, and state agencies valued
