Key Responsibilities

Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering appropriate tests, and developing personalized care strategies

Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions in tandem with physicians or independently (per your credentialing)

Providing education to patients and families on preventive care, wellness, and effective disease management

Prescribing medicines and therapies, adhering to your scope of practice

Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management assessments

Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive, patient-focused care

Meticulously documenting patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications

Earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Licensure and Certifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Ohio

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
