Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Assistant for an immediate, 3 month contract opportunity. In this role, you will support local medical clinics and hospitals, gaining exposure to a specialized side of pharmaceuticals. This is a fantastic chance to expand your skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
• Contract Duration: 3-month contract (ASAP to end of January 2026) with strong potential for extension.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (40 hours/week).
• Pay Rate: $19 - $20/Hour
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting the pharmacist with final product labeling, packing, and shipping.
• Preparing medications for final checks by the pharmacist.
• Providing excellent customer service to all patients and healthcare providers.
• Speaking with patients over the phone to confirm delivery details.
• Checking prescriptions for proper dosage and accuracy.
• Maintaining patient medical profiles and coordinating clinical investigations.
• Evaluating the labeling, packaging, and advertising of drugs.
• Lifting up to 50lbs to help with restocking as required.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant.
• High proficiency using the Kroll pharmacy system is essential (experience with a high volume of ~300 Rx/day is ideal).
• Knowledge of courier services and shipping processes is a strong asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Must be highly motivated, personable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift 50lbs as required for inventory management.
