Job Title: Production Associate East Moline, IL $16/hr

Job Description

We are seeking four dedicated production team members for our facility in East Moline, IL. As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks and projects within different departments, including Cell, Saw Operator, Receiving, Shipping, and fulfilling work orders. Your primary duty will involve handling copper tubing and pipes for shipments to major retailers. This includes covering wires with protective tubing, boxing them, and ensuring safe and correct shipping procedures.

Responsibilities

Move pipe to designated pick locations.

Pull orders accurately and efficiently.

Bar code and label pipes appropriately.

Bundle and wrap pipes securely for shipping.

Cut pipes according to provided cut sheets.

Segregate and identify scrap materials.

Wrap products to prepare them for shipment.

Unload trucks as needed.

Load outbound shipments carefully.

Essential Skills

Experience in production and general labor.

Proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery.

Skills in inventory management, loading, and unloading.

Experience in shipping, receiving, assembly, and labeling.

Ability to pack and package products efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimal experience required in a warehouse setting.

Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tasks.

Willingness to undergo cross-training in various roles.

After 1-3 weeks of training, you will be eligible for production incentives, offering an additional $2.00/hour for Tier 1 and $3.00/hour for Tier 2.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, which means it can be hot during the summer and cold in the winter. The noise level varies from quiet to moderate and occasionally loud, depending on department activities and tool usage.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
