Patient Transport Driver/ Mental Health Tech

Job Description

Join a compassionate, mission-driven team making a difference for children and adolescents! This dual role combines direct patient care with safe and timely transportation for admissions, discharges, — including driving across the state of Alabama to ensure patients receive the care they need.

What You’ll Do:

Safely transport patients throughout Alabama for admissions and discharges

Provide direct supervision and support to patients during transport and on the unit

Maintain vehicle safety, cleanliness, and accurate transport logs

Coordinate trips with Nursing and the Discharge Coordinator

️ May require occasional overtime depending on travel distance and return time

What You’ll Need:

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver’s license with “P” (Passenger) endorsement

Experience in mental health, transport, or direct care preferred
