CT Technologist - 12 Hour Shifts

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week contract position. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, performing various imaging and studies including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities, along with biopsies and sterile tray setups. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in training for biopsy procedures if necessary.

Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging for various studies

Conduct biopsies and assist with sterile tray setups

Start IVs and provide patient care as needed

Collaborate with nursing support for administering premedications

Maintain adherence to safety protocols and quality standards

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour shifts, rotating between days, evenings, nights, and weekends/holidays as needed. The staff works on a 2,2,3 shift schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must hold a valid BLS certification and a WV Xray License

ARRT certification in CT is preferred; a minimum of 3-5 years of CT experience is required

Must have IV experience
