Job Description
Description:
Position Summary
Gifthealth is on a mission to bring an easier, more affordable pharmacy experience to patients and providers around the country. In just a few years, we have served thousands of patients and are expanding nationally at a rapid pace. Health is our most precious gift, and our team believes it should be a priority—not a privilege. We are Gifthealth.
About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in fueling Gifthealth’s growth by driving net new business. Your primary focus will be calling white space gastroenterology accounts to set high-quality meetings with key stakeholders. These meetings will then be handed off to our Account Executive team to convert into long-term partnerships.
In addition to gastroenterology, you will also support partner pharmacy growth efforts by helping sign net new partner pharmacies when needed, as well as expand outreach into other specialties as Gifthealth continues to grow.
This is a highly proactive, outbound-facing role where persistence, professionalism, and the ability to spark conversations are key. If you’re driven, competitive, and thrive in building opportunities from the ground up, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Engage in high-volume outbound calling to gastroenterology organizations, targeting white space accounts not yet on our platform.
Identify, qualify, and secure meeting times with key stakeholders at target organizations for our Account Executive team.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities aligned to growth objectives.
Support the Partner Pharmacy team in identifying and signing new partner pharmacies as needed.
Expand outreach to other specialties as Gifthealth grows beyond gastroenterology.
Effectively communicate Gifthealth’s value proposition to prospects and spark interest in further discussions.
Collaborate closely with the Account Executive team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
Provide consistent feedback to leadership on market trends, prospect responses, and potential improvements to outreach strategies.
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales (healthcare or pharmacy-related experience is a plus).
Proven success in outbound prospecting and cold calling in a high-volume environment.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Competitive drive with a growth mindset — you thrive on hitting and exceeding goals.
Tech-savvy and comfortable working with CRM and prospecting tools.
Able to operate with integrity, professionalism, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Attributes
You are fearless on the phone and skilled at opening doors with busy professionals.
You are organized and disciplined, managing outreach cadences and follow-ups effectively.
You operate with high energy and persistence, embracing the challenge of building new business from scratch.
You are motivated by impact and growth, both personally and for the organization.
