Quantity Surveyor (Data Centers)

Location: Frankfurt / Amsterdam

Hours: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–3pm

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Contract Type: Permanent

Role Overview

The Commercial Lead will take ownership of commercial activities on major MEP construction projects across Europe, leading project commercial teams and supporting the construction team on all commercial and contractual functions.

This is a key leadership position responsible for cost management, procurement, valuations, and contract administration — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage project commercial teams on major data centre and MEP projects.

Oversee all commercial functions, including cost management, procurement, valuations, and reporting.

Support project managers and site teams to ensure financial and contractual success.

Monitor budgets, assess risks, and identify opportunities for maximising value.

Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

Report regularly to senior management on project financial performance.

Essential Requirements

Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 8+ years’ post-qualification experience on large-scale MEP construction projects.

Proven commercial management and leadership experience.

Strong contractual knowledge and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication, organisation, and time management abilities.

High IT literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Desirable

Previous Data Centre project experience is highly advantageous.
