Summary:
The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll across the organization. This role involves managing biweekly payroll cycles, commissions, timecards, and deductions using payroll and time management systems. The position requires a high level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. The Senior Payroll Specialist also provides support for payroll-related inquiries, reporting, and special projects to ensure efficient payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive payroll and employee data.
Process biweekly payroll accurately and on schedule using payroll software.
Review and reconcile payroll records and reports.
Manage and approve employee timecards within the time management system.
Administer and maintain system access for new hires and employee updates.
Generate, review, and distribute payroll and timekeeping reports as needed.
Process commission schedules and maintain related documentation.
Ensure compliance with garnishment, child support, and other withholding orders.
Respond to employee and management payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with payroll audits and reporting requirements.
Support training and onboarding of payroll team members when needed.
Collaborate closely with leadership on payroll matters and special projects.
Maintain compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework or certification preferred.
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience using payroll and reporting systems.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
