Chef de Partie – 4 Red Star, 3 AA Rosette Country House Hotel £30,000–£32,000 + Tips + Live-In

Location: Near Kettering, Northamptonshire

Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum + tips/service charge

Hours: Full-time 48 hours per week 10-hour shifts 5 days on, 2 off (typically Monday to Friday)

Accommodation: Live-in available (£75 per week, all-inclusive)

The hotel is home to two restaurants — a relaxed brasserie and the fine dining Tresham Restaurant, which showcases refined, contemporary British cuisine at 3 Rosette level. The Opportunity

As Chef de Partie, you will take charge of your section and deliver consistently high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant’s exacting standards. You’ll work closely with the senior team, developing your technical skills, creativity, and precision while contributing to a smooth, efficient service.

This role suits a chef with fine-dining experience who thrives in a structured, professional environment and takes pride in producing food of exceptional standard.

Your Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes in line with recipes, standards, and presentation requirements

Take ownership of your section, maintaining organisation and readiness throughout service

Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients and equipment

Ensure dishes are delivered promptly, maintaining quality and consistency

Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures at all times

Maintain a clean, tidy workstation and ensure proper stock rotation

Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth, coordinated service

Assist senior chefs with menu development, prep, and daily tasks

Contribute to a positive, professional, and respectful kitchen environment

About You

Experience in a 2 or 3 AA Rosette or fine-dining kitchen

Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for great food

Ability to run a section independently while working as part of a team

Professional, reliable, and calm under pressure

Good communication skills and a proactive approach to learning

Own transport or ability to relocate (live-in available)
