Layout multilayer printed circuit boards while meeting established design rules, methodology and quality standards of the Hardware Development process using Cadence Allegro tools.

Apply electronic circuit knowledge, specific layout requirements and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) standards to board layout and identifying basic design errors.

Collaborate with mechanical engineers to define and verify board outline, mounting holes, keep-out areas and height constraints

Collaborate with electrical engineers to define project scheduling, parts placement, trace routing and power distribution requirements.

Generate schematic drawing, BOM, gerber package, bare board documentation and assembly documentation for PCB manufacturing

Propose and implement improvements to the existing CAD process and CAD library standards

Qualifications:

Graduate of Electronics Engineering or graduate of a related field with equivalent experience

Solid understanding in electronic principles of PCB design, particularly for signal integrity and EMC.

Competence using PCB CAD tools, preferably Cadence

Knowledge in Design for Manufacturing standards

Preferably 2 years actively involved in PCB design roles

Good written and communication skills.

Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Experience in PCB Library management is a plus
