*Job Summary*:

Performs screening mammography exams in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Work Shift:

* PRN/Contingent

* First Shift (7:30AM - 4:00PM)

* Weekdays Only (Half-Day Fridays)

Role Functions:

* Collects patients clinical history and provides valuable patient education.

* Maintains cleanliness and care of Mammography equipment, including performing Quality Control procedures as needed.

* Operates mammography equipment to produce quality diagnostic images without supervision.

* Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.

* Cooperates with other clinical staff for seamless patient care.

*Qualifications:*

Education:

* Associates from an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) accredited institute (preferred)

Licensure/Certification:

* ARRT Certification, Radiology and Mammography (required)

* Ohio Radiology License

* Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, required prior to direct patient care)

Experience:

* One year of experience as mammography technologist (required)

* Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)

* Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) (preferred)

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
