Delivery Driver/Shipping Receiving

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver/ Shipping Receiving team member for our steel shop. Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials.

Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:

Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

Collaborates and communicates with internal and external individuals who are involved in the shipment and receipt of products.

Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly shipping/receiving area

Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.

Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.

Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

Maintain an accurate inventory

Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Local deliveries

Other responsibilities that may not be listed

Qualifications:

Experienced in a manufacturing setting and has maintain a shipping and receiving role of at least 2 years

Proficient in the use of overhead crane, forklift, and other industrial vehicles

Ability to handle physical workload, must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Strong work ethic

Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Detail oriented

Must possess a valid Class B driver's license and have a clean driving recordCompany Description
