Dining Hall Food Operations Lead

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Food Service Director, focusing on team leadership, culinary excellence, safety protocols, and fostering positive client relations.

Key Responsibilities:

Train and supervise kitchen staff while coordinating all culinary activities.

Estimate food needs and efficiently manage orders and purchases.

Create and standardize recipes to maintain consistent quality.

Establish quality standards and presentation techniques for menus.

Ensure equipment is maintained properly and uphold safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.

Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction when needed.

Your role will evolve as you grow with us, and we may assign additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in a related role is required.

Completion of post-high school education or equivalent experience is necessary.

A culinary degree is preferred.

Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices is required.

Experience in managing teams and resolving issues is essential.

Strong communication skills (oral, reading, and writing) are needed.
