About Woven by Toyota Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company.
Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation — expanding what “mobility” means and how it serves society.
Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies; Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles; Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation.
Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.
TEAM We are the Advanced UX Team at Woven by Toyota.
We are a cross-functional, multi-cultural team of talented designers and researchers dedicated to crafting intuitive, innovative, and visually compelling user experiences that define the future of automotive interfaces.
Our focus is on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving, leveraging thoughtful, data-validated designs to bring the next generation of driving experiences to life.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a talented and experienced UI/UX Animator to join our ADAS UX team in Tokyo.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the user experience and bringing in-vehicle interfaces to life through motion and interaction for next-generation driver-assistance and automated-parking technologies.
This position blends creativity with technical expertise, requiring a strong grasp of motion design principles and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
You will transform static concepts into dynamic animations that convey design behavior, timing, and intent – aligning stakeholders across product planning, design and engineering.
This highly cross-functional role demands excellence in both concept and execution.
You will craft intelligent, elegant, and empathetic design solutions that make complex systems feel simple, seamless, and safe.
Your work will directly drive the evolution of cutting-edge automotive experiences, influencing millions of users worldwide.
Collaborating closely with 2D and 3D designers, engineers, researchers, and project managers, you will contribute to Toyota’s long-term vision for mobility.
