Job Posting: Flatbed Truck Driver – Chesapeake, VA

Aerotek is hiring a Flatbed Truck Driver to support scaffolding operations in the Chesapeake area. This is a hands-on role involving transportation, loading/unloading, and field support. If you're a safety-focused driver with flatbed experience and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a flatbed truck to transport scaffolding equipment between warehouse and job sites

Load and unload materials using proper tools and techniques

Secure loads with chains, straps, and tarps to meet DOT standards

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs

Assist warehouse and field crews with organizing and staging equipment

Operate a sit-down propane forklift

Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate with dispatchers and site supervisors Must-Have Skills

Flatbed truck operation

Forklift (sit-down)

Loading & unloading heavy materials

Load securement techniques Nice-to-Have Skills

General labor

Transport & production support

CDL Class A or B license (clean driving record)

Forklift certification Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of flatbed driving experience preferred

Ability to lift and maneuver 50+ lbs

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $52000.00/yr.
