State Certified Electrician

Job Description

HiFyve is hiring a State Certified Electrician for the manufacturing industry in Shakopee, Minnesota!

Salary: $44–$45/hr

Shift: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Location: Shakopee, Minnesota

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, repair, install, and wire electrical and electronic equipment throughout the plant, including motors, switches, control panels, and circuit breakers

Interpret verbal instructions, drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to determine repair or installation methods

Perform electrical work in compliance with wiring codes, material properties, and safety standards, including on energized circuits when necessary

Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit, fittings, and wiring for new installations, relocations, and temporary operations

Support plant operations by completing related electrical tasks as needed

Education Requirements:

Must hold a current Minnesota State Electrician License

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, wiring codes, and equipment operation

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and safely working with electrical systems, including energized circuits

Proficient in using electrical tools, materials, and test equipment

Capable of independently planning and executing complex electrical projects
