Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead regional sales team across Central America and Mexico. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing commercial operations, and developing strategic customer relationships. The Sales Manager will oversee a team of sales professionals, ensuring performance targets are met while fostering a collaborative and customer-centric culture. This is a hybrid role requiring travel approximately once per month.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, support, and performance oversight.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
Oversee commercial activities including prospecting new accounts, managing existing business, and supporting sales representatives in client meetings.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, revenue trends, and market opportunities.
Collaborate with operations, billing, and pricing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Champion pricing strategies and lead service contract negotiations.
Manage the annual budget for land transportation and contribute to regional business planning.
Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities using CRM tools.
Work closely with peers across Central America and Mexico to align regional sales efforts
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
A combination of post-secondary education and equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience
Sales experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
Experience managing teams and working across multiple countries in Central America and Mexico is highly desirable.
Open to candidates from other industries with strong commercial acumen and regional experience.
Technical Proficiencies & Tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access).
Familiarity with CRM platforms for tracking sales activities and customer interactions.
Strong data management and reporting skills.
Soft kills Qualifications
B2 level English proficiency or higher.
Strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills.
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
