Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week contract. The ER is a Trauma Level II department operating at a high-acuity level, averaging 200 patients per day across 52 beds and 4 trauma bays. Ideal candidates will have recent trauma-level I/II experience, be proficient with EPIC, and thrive in a fast-paced environment delivering comprehensive emergency care.

Duties:

Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity ER setting

Triage and assess patients using ESI

Initiate IVs, draw labs, administer medications, and monitor telemetry

Collaborate with ED physicians and multidisciplinary staff to stabilize and treat patients

Document care accurately in EPIC

Manage emergency equipment and respond rapidly to critical situations

Requirements:

2+ years recent ER RN experience (Trauma Level I or II within past 3 years required; Level III/CAH not accepted)

EPIC proficiency required (recent use)

Able to read own telemetry

Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage multiple high-acuity patients

Certifications:

Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

Education:

Required: ASN or Nursing Diploma

Preferred: BSN

Contractor
