The Dispatcher position is responsible for coordination and assignment of outbound catering on the Customer Service dock.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Duties: • Review dispatch sheet to check for any new routes and compare to daily schedule.
• Fill in gate and ship number • Assign specific flights for all scheduled personnel.
• Complete team sheets.
• Assign terminators and additional sections as required.
• Keep dispatch sheets current.
• Update gate changes/routings and canceled flights and relay information to drivers.
• Interact with other Customer Service team members to solve problems and resolve issues.
• Comply with Company SOPs - Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work as a member of the LSG Sky Chefs team to ensure the highest quality product is delivered to our airline customers.
• Coordinate other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: • Ability to follow instructions and stay safety conscious.
• Excellent English communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to multitask - handle multiple calls, radio, and face to face communications at the same time.
• Ability to read and interpret paperwork in English • Good organizational, time management skills and computer skills.
• Ability to handle high pressure and time sensitive situations.
• Must pass training course for final certification • Must be flexible to work any shift/hours - shifts are subject to change due to shift bidding.
