Manages and ensures accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of required documentation for tracking the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) dispute resolution processes and procedures:
· Manages and maintains databases for dispute resolution processes;
· Analyzes data and generates reports and correspondence as needed to meet federal reporting requirements;
· Serves as records manager for all dispute resolution documentation;
· Follows protocols and procedures to ensure timely/efficient processing and closure of complaints and due process;
· Serves as due process coordinator by ensuring all due process procedures are followed and processed;
· Serves as back up to the mediation coordinator;
· Analyzes and develops trend data for all dispute resolution processes (e.g., complaints, due process, mediation and facilitation);
Maintains calendars to include complaint deadlines for federal reporting.
· Collaborates with Information Technology office to recommend enhancements for dispute resolution tracking database;
· Gathers and organizes data and relevant documentation upon request.
Performs other related duties as assigned: attends meetings in administrator’s absence; prepares correspondence and responds to public inquiries.
4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
-Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
