Crane Operator / Rigging Operator

Job Description

Position: Crane Operator & Rigging Crew Member

Location: Greensboro / Winston-Salem / High Point area

Schedule: Full-time (days) with potential for special jobs or projects

Key Responsibilities:

Operate mobile cranes, rigging, and lift-boom equipment to load, unload, and position heavy items (such as machinery, large crates, shipments)

Work alongside rigging crew, coordinate lifts, perform daily safety checks, inspect gear and ensure proper cribbing & load control

Load/unload trucks, move large items in storage/warehouse environment, assist in secure transport of oversized items

Requirements:

Proven crane operating experience, rigging knowledge strongly preferred

NCCCO certification or equivalent crane operator credentials a plus (common in the area)

Class B or higher CDL desirable (or willing to obtain)

Excellent safety attitude; able to climb on and off equipment, handle heavy loads, work as part of a team
