ABA Counselor Early Intervention- Part time

ABA Counselor Early Intervention Overview

Join our team as an ABA Counselor-Early Intervention, where you'll play a crucial role in providing direct instruction and intervention to young children with emotional, developmental, and/or behavioral needs. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you'll implement teaching plans tailored to each child's unique requirements, fostering their growth and development during this critical stage of life. Each day will present new challenges as you work within home, residential, and school environments.

ABA Counselor Early Intervention Schedule and Salary Information

Day time/evening hours (between 8:30-6pm) Some schedules may be 8:30-2:30pm or 2:30-5:30pm depending on availability

$22.00-27.00 per hour

ABA Counselor Early Intervention Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Service Field, or Psychology preferred, Associates in related field required

Coursework in early childhood development or young children with special needs preferred

Valid US driver’s license and minimum age of 21

Strong interpersonal and teaching skills

Experience or interest in Applied Behavior Analysis and special education

ABA Counselor Early Intervention Responsibilities

Provide direct instruction and intervention to assigned clients in their home and community environments

Assist in implementing individualized teaching plans under BCBA supervision

Ensure safety and adherence to health protocols during sessions

Collect and analyze data for ongoing assessment and development of treatment plans

Maintain effective communication with parents and multidisciplinary team members

Create a fun and engaging environment to enhance client motivation and learning
