Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead a crew of 5–10 electricians installing and maintaining PLC-controlled roadway and transportation signage systems. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll manage field operations, ensure safety and quality, and keep critical infrastructure running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily work for a crew of electricians in the field.
Lead installation, wiring, and troubleshooting of PLC-based signage and control systems.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Manage materials, tools, and job documentation.
Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and engineers to meet deadlines.
Mentor and train crew members on technical skills and safety practices.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years as a foreman or supervisor.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and low-voltage electrical work.
Experience with transportation or roadway electrical systems (signage, ITS, lighting) preferred.
Current Journeyman or Master Electrician License (or equivalent).
OSHA 30 Certification – Required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
