Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

Account Reconciliation: Review accounts for discrepancies and conduct end-of-month reconciliations.

Account Structure: Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to appropriate accounts.

General Ledger Management: Prepare general ledger entries and maintain/reconcile financial records and files.

Audit Preparation: Maintain and reconcile various GL accounts and prepare these accounts for external auditors.

Experience Preferred for the Staff Accountant

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant Role

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

2+ years of accounting experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
