Job Title: Production Training Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Training Coordinator to create and maintain a comprehensive training matrix for team members. This role involves scheduling departmental training for various roles including direct and indirect labor, as well as office and support functions. You will be responsible for setting up new team members in our system and developing individual training plans. Additionally, you will set goals and expectations for training deliverables, prepare training reports, track changes, and update QMS documents related to training needs. Collaboration with various departments to fulfill training requirements is essential, as is identifying and recommending solutions for continuous improvement in the training process.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain training matrix for team members.

Schedule departmental training for direct labor, indirect labor, and office support functions.

Set up new team members in the system and develop individual training plans.

Set goals and expectations for training deliverables.

Prepare training reports to evaluate the status and completeness of training requirements.

Track changes and update QMS documents related to training needs.

Collaborate with various departments to carry out training needs.

Identify and recommend solutions for continuous improvement in the training process.

Work with other departments to record and maintain training documents.

Essential Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Willingness and ability to support a multi-shift organization.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and across departments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2-4 years of experience as a training coordinator in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grayslake, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
