Job Title: Packaging Line Worker

Job Description

As a Packaging Line Worker, you will be responsible for general duties including operating slitter, assembly, labeling, quality control, and packaging. You may also be required to perform minor set-up and operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate slitter and other machinery as required.

Assemble, label, and package products according to specifications.

Conduct quality control checks to ensure product standards are met.

Perform minor set-up and equipment operation tasks.

Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet production goals.Essential Skills

At least 6 months of prior warehouse experience or equivalent.

Manual dexterity and good coordination.

Basic reading, writing, and math skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in machine operation, packaging, and assembly.

Work Environment

Work in a clean environment with small teams of 2-4 members. Adhere to a dress code of jeans or work pants, while avoiding leggings or sweatpants. Contractors must provide their own steel toe boots and adhere to all PPE requirements, including safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and cut-resistant gloves. The first shift operates Monday through Thursday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the possibility of overtime based on production volume.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
