Our Field Technicians troubleshoot, advise and install solutions for our valued client's technology infrastructure. Your skills will be the foundation for our service desk talent pool. You will serve as a technical advocate for our client's front line and executive level employees while providing definitive solutions to our client's hardware and network issues.
Location: Columbus, OH and at customer locations

Classification: Full Time
Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday with ability to work occasional overtime
Compensation: $21.00 to $25.00 hourly

Position Overview
As a Field Technician at Astute Technology Management, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional IT services to our clients. You will be empowered to use your technical expertise and customer service skills to make a meaningful impact every day. Your work will ensure small and medium businesses thrive by ensuring their technology runs smoothly and securely.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to support calls and emails, providing timely and thoughtful solutions.
Manage help desk tickets from start to finish, ensuring every client feels heard and supported.
Install equipment at client locations, paying close attention to detail so every client's experience is seamless.
Support clients with mobile devices, desktops, and laptops, helping them stay productive and connected.
Efficiently install and configure desktop operating systems (Windows and Mac), making transitions easy for users.
Migrate user data, ensuring information is safe and accessible.
Guide clients through Office 365, empowering them to use technology confidently.
Manage Active Directory, helping clients maintain secure and organized networks.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and printing issues, removing barriers to productivity.
Facilitate new device configuration, making sure every device is ready for use on client networks.
Complete and articulate customer network audits, giving clients valuable insights into their systems.
Create infrastructure documentation, supporting clients and colleagues with clear, accessible information.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years Help Desk or Field Support experience.
A commitment to outstanding customer service and a passion for helping others.
CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications (or a willingness to complete them within 6 months of hire).
MTA - Operating, Networking, and Security Fundamentals (or equivalent).
Basic network troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Windows and MacOS.
A clean driving record (company vehicles are used in this role).
