With a strong reputation for innovation, safety, and timely delivery, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Project Director to lead major construction projects in the Frankfurt region.

Position Summary:

The Project Director will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a senior leadership role requiring significant experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end project delivery of large-scale construction projects (€50M+), from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

Manage project teams including project managers, site managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

Develop and control project budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and quality requirements.

Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Resolve project issues and risks promptly to avoid delays and cost overruns.

Provide strategic direction and support for business development in the Frankfurt region.

Report regularly to senior management on project performance, risks, and financials.

Willingness to spend about 80 % of your time on project sites within the Frankfurt region, with occasional visits to NL HQ.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum of 10–15 years’ experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.

Proven track record in delivering complex commercial or infrastructure projects in Germany or similar markets.

In-depth knowledge of German construction laws, building codes, and permitting processes.

Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi-million-euro budgets.

Fluent in English, (written and spoken) – mandatory. German speaking beneficial.
