Purchasing Manager

A leading international organisation is strengthening its procurement function and is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to support business leaders and drive sourcing initiatives across its German operations.

Your responsibilities:

Act as the key contact for procurement-related topics across multiple categories

Partner with leadership teams to align sourcing strategy with business goals

Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to drive efficiency and performance

Lead supplier negotiations and secure favorable terms and contracts

Build strong supplier relationships and continuously evaluate performance

Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement procurement projects and best practices

Your profile:

5+ years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or a comparable role

Strong background in supplier management, sourcing strategy, and negotiation

Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders

Analytical and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills in German and English

Willingness to travel occasionally

Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field

Location: Frankfurt (hybrid & remote working model)
