Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (graduates from 2023, 2024, or 2025)
Job Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated Associate Distribution Engineers to join our team. This is a fully on-site role in multiple U.S. locations. Candidates will support electrical distribution projects including overhead, underground, URD, Make Ready, and streetlight systems. The role offers hands-on experience in both office and field settings, utilizing engineering principles, GIS, WMS systems, and industry-standard tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop design and construction work packages for electrical distribution systems (4kV-138kV), including OH, UG, URD, and streetlight projects.
Use GIS and WMS systems such as GE Smallworld, Bentley Expert Designer, and Maximo to support design and construction activities.
Conduct field inspections and return to office to complete engineering design tasks.
Perform engineering calculations: structural analysis, guying, conductor sags/tensions, voltage drop, and flicker.
Prepare permitting documents and support easements/ROW applications.
Provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews.
Conduct root cause analysis of outages and propose mitigation solutions.
Adhere to company and client safety standards, as well as engineering and design quality expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (2023-2025 graduates).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to travel using personal vehicle as needed (reimbursed at IRS-approved rates).
Willingness to work both in office and field environments.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
