Warehouse Operative - Freezer picker and packer

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, ongoing work, and excellent opportunities for progression within a supportive logistics environment.

Shifts:

4 on 4 off - Days: 07:00 - 19:00

4 on 4 off – Nights: 19:00 – 07:00

Pay Rate:

£13.05 per hour days (pay rise in January!)

£15.25 per hour nights (pay rise in January!)

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your day-to-day-duties as a Warehouse Operative will be:

Pick freezer food items using Voice Pick Technology in -21 C conditions

Operate Forklift Trucks (Reach and Counterbalance) safely and efficiently

Move, sort, and organise stock within the warehouse

Wrap and secure completed pallets for despatch

Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times

Perform other warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be a Warehouse Operative are:

Previous experience working in a freezer environment

Voice pick and system picking experience

MHE experience (PPT, Reach, or Counterbalance)

Good level of spoken and written English

Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Previous 4 on 4 off and/or night shift experience preferred

Desirable Experience:

Experience working in a freezer or chilled warehouse environment

Training Provided:

Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
