The Role
Do you have hands-on experience working with inboard systems, electrical installations and leisure craft between 7–15 metres? Can you deliver top-quality engineering work that keeps customers’ vessels running smoothly? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
As a Marine Engineer at One Degree West Marine, you’ll enjoy the freedom to manage your own projects while benefiting from a welcoming, team-focused environment. You’ll work across a variety of pleasure craft, tackling everything from engine repairs to electrical systems, rigging and installations. No two days are the same, and your work will be seen and appreciated by boat owners who rely on your expertise.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working in a lively marina setting, surrounded by other passionate marine professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
Service, repair and install diesel and petrol inboard engines.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and complete new installations.
Maintain and repair drive systems.
Undertake rigging work as required.
Work independently on-site at our marina and nearby locations.

One Degree West Marine Ltd offers a wide range of marine services covering all leisure craft maintenance and servicing. This includes marine and mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic installations and rigging services for vessels from 5 to 25 metres. As well as this our small chandlery shop on site offers a selection of essential maintenance products.
The Person
Qualified and/or experienced in marine engineering (at least 1 year preferred).
Skilled in servicing and repairing inboard engines.
Confident with boat systems and electrical diagnostics.
Self-motivated, reliable and takes pride in their work.
Able to manage their own workload and deliver quality results.
