Key Responsibilities:
Strategic guidance: Advise local leaders, HR partners, and managers on employment strategies and best practices in employee and labor relations.
Conflict resolution: Manage and resolve complex workplace issues and conflicts before they escalate.
Policy compliance: Ensure organizational compliance with labor contracts, employment laws, and HR policies.
Investigations: Lead or oversee objective and thorough investigations of workplace complaints and policy violations.
Hiring and Interviewing skills
Training: Develop and provide training for managers on performance management, discipline, grievance handling, and other ELR-related topics
Key Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree preferable in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A post-graduate degree may also be preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in employee and labor relations, including handling investigations, grievances, and negotiations.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and best practices is essential.
Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are critical.
Other: May include experience with workforce adjustments, such as M&A or restructurings
