"Guidewire Policy Centre Developer mostly working in the PC productpricing configuration space

Must have 5 plus years Hands on Experience in Guidewire Policy center experience

Guidewire Certified

Knowledge in design and architecture of Guidewire applications

Experience with Guidewire Rating Engine Product Model and Data Model

Strong problem solving logical planning interpersonal skills ability to work well as a team and willing to translate innovative ideas into products and projects

Exposure to process principles and practices of methodologies like Agile and Waterfall models

Excellent relationship management skills

Job Responsibilities

Design develop and test software

Prepare technical specifications from requirements

Ensure successful completion of developer assignments by estimating and tracking progress of assigned work

Maintain the operation of business systems and applications

Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve application incidents

Participate in planning activities

Create and update relevant documentation

Improve upon and ensure the adherence to the established practices processes and guidelines

Keep current with relevant technologies"

"GW Policy Center Solution Analyst Onsite mostly working in the PC product pricing configuration space

Job Description

Commercial PC Insurance Functional SME with Guidewire PolicyCenter knowledge At least 510 years of industry experience with expertise in defining requirements for PolicyCenter implementation Knowledge of Product Model and challenges with various integrations is a must Candidates with understanding of small commercial package products is preferred

Skills Required

Postsecondary degree in data management computer science engineering or related discipline

5 years experience in insurance industry

5 years experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite PolicyCenter

Strong understanding of open systems architecture including integrations with vendor packages relational databases message queues web services and legacy systems

Strong insurance domain knowledge eg Underwriting Policy Administration Pricing Claims etc and good grasp of information technology domains BIDW Data Modeling ETL RBDMS Hadoop etc

Strong analytical and data mining skills able to readwrite complex SQL queries to analyze data investigate defects validate data quality etc

Excellent analysis and problemsolving skills with proven ability to handle large amounts of data to draw out insights relationships and patterns

Deep experience with systems analysis and translating business requirements into functional specifications and nonfunctional requirements

Strong communication skills verbal and written and able to explain complex conceptsissues in simple terms

Proven track record of creating clear concise documentation that reflects a deep understanding of business and systems processes data flows etc

Highly motivated selfstarter with ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fastpaced environment with demonstrated ownershipaccountability to deliver with minimal supervision

Detailoriented and delivery focused with ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts business models and technologies
