Machine Operation
Set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers (VMCs). Lathes, and drill presses after the initial training period.
Load and secure raw materials, fixtures, and tooling into machines.
Perform routine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets as needed.
Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements.
Quality & Inspection
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams.
Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.) to verify part accuracy.
Conduct and document in-process and final inspections according to company standards.
Maintain accurate quality records.
Operational Responsibilities
Perform daily machine checks, including lubrication, coolant levels, and general condition.
Report equipment issues or malfunctions immediately to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
Follow all operational procedures accurately and consistently.
Actively participate in training to improve machining skills and technical knowledge.
Suggest and support process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
