**Job Description** **Station Equipment Operator:** **What You'll Do:** + Perform all duties in accordance with the Company's safety rules, regulations, and practices, and report unsafe conditions and practices.
+ Operate, inspect, and service (including minor adjustments and maintenance) cranes, dozers, and similar heavy equipment.
+ Operate large equipment capacity tandem axle tractor/trailer to haul station equipment, heavy construction equipment, and large material components; load and unload heavy construction equipment.
+ Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
+ Direct the work of employees assigned to assist.
+ Operate automotive and associated equipment; perform duties incidental to the operation of such equipment.
+ Maintain required records.
+ Assist other employees in the performance of their duties.
+ Assist in training other employees.
+ Perform similar or less skilled work as assigned.
+ Report irregularities and abnormal conditions.
**What We're Looking For:** **Work Experience requirement listed below:** + Must have performed the duties of, and have all the qualifications of Station Mechanic-B.
+ Must qualify through demonstration and/or examination as determined by the Company.
+ Must thoroughly understand the operation of all types of equipment used in the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground facilities.
+ Must know the standard methods of rigging, blocking, and skidding heavy equipment.
+ Must be able to handle heavy work in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Must demonstrate familiarity with Company safety rules and practices and must maintain applicable proficiency level in resuscitation and first aid skills.
+ Must possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Must meet all vehicle operation requirements as designated by federal and/or state law.

**Compensation Data** **Compensation Grade:** N010-065 **Compensation Range:** $36.71-41.18 USD The Physical Demand Level for this job is: H - Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
