Job Description

Join our team as a Bioinformatics Specialist and play a key role in executing and implementing bioinformatic pipelines to analyze data from Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with safety and health standards at all times.

Execute internal bioinformatic pipelines for NGS data analysis.

Develop and implement new bioinformatic pipelines for NGS analysis.

Perform statistical analysis of data generated from NGS studies.

Maintain and update programs, tools, and databases to ensure efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Sciences and MSc degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.

Experience:

Proficiency in data science: scripting (R, Python, etc.), data analysis (retrieving/manipulating data from public repositories, building/analyzing datasets).

Knowledge of statistical models and reporting tools (e.g., LaTeX, strong writing skills).

Valuable: Experience in microbiome data analysis and biostatistics.
