As a Senior HR Business Partner, you act as a trusted strategic advisor to N-1 leaders, shaping the people and organizational agenda across your business areas. You combine strong business acumen with deep HR expertise to enable sustainable performance, culture, and capability development.

About the role

You will:

Serve as trusted advisor to N-1 leaders in all strategic people, organizational, and leadership matters, ensuring alignment of business and people strategy across the area of responsibility.

Master all local HR topics for our Danish operations (~160 employees), providing guidance to managers and employees and build a strong HR presence in Denmark, supporting both operational tasks and long-term initiatives.

Drive the implementation of organizational design and transformation initiatives developed by the HR Centers of Expertise, ensuring effective adoption within the assigned business areas. Ensure full compliance with Danish labor laws, collective agreements, and union relations.

Lead or contribute to the implementation of HR projects at national and international level, ensuring that initiatives are effectively embedded into the business.

Steer talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development actions, enabling executives to build strong, diverse, and future-ready teams

Translate the corporate people strategy into a concrete People Plan for the supported business areas, strengthening culture, engagement, and performance.

Guide the execution of core HR processes (e.g. performance management, annual salary review, workforce decisions), advising leadership on strategic compensation and employment matters.

Provide functional guidance, coaching, and alignment for HR Business Partners supporting N-2 leaders, ensuring consistency in execution, quality of advice, and alignment with the overall people strategy.

Job requirements and experience

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Danish and English language skills at native level

Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in a strategic HR business partnering role, as well as a proven track record as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable senior HR role, ideally with exposure to international environments and matrix organizations (experience in the offshore/energy sector is beneficial).

Demonstrated experience advising and challenging senior executives on complex people, organizational, and business issues.

Strong involvement in driving organizational change, transformation, or restructuring projects, ideally across multiple countries.

Solid understanding of labor law and employment frameworks, with the ability to balance compliance and business needs (in close collaboration with Country HR).

Experience in talent management, succession planning, and leadership development at senior levels.

Proven capability in workforce planning, employment cost steering, and HR analytics to support strategic decision-making
