Meet the team:

Lead the strategic planning, market access, and commercial execution of Dexcom’s diabetes medical technology portfolio in Ireland. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, expanding patient access, and ensuring operational excellence across the Irish market.

Where you come in:

Strategic Planning & Commercial Delivery

Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Ireland, aligned with Dexcom’s EMEA and global objectives.

Lead forecasting, territory planning, and performance tracking to ensure delivery of revenue and market share targets.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Marketing, Finance) to align strategic priorities and resource allocation.

Market Access & Health System Engagement

Own and evolve the market access strategy for Ireland, including engagement with HSE, PCRS, and private healthcare stakeholders.

Drive initiatives to secure reimbursement, tender wins, and policy alignment for Dexcom’s CGM technologies.

Lead advocacy efforts to expand access for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes populations, including sub-group strategies (e.g., T2 Adult ONE+, paediatrics, MDI).

Commercial Execution

Oversee execution of commercial plans including product launches, pricing strategies, and channel development.

Build and maintain strategic partnerships with distributors, pharmacy networks, and clinical stakeholders.

Ensure operational readiness across supply chain, trade, and demand planning functions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Evidence Generation

Partner with clinical and policy stakeholders to support value-based care initiatives and local outcomes projects.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achievement of revenue and market share targets.

Expansion of CGM access across Type 1 and Type 2 populations.

Successful execution of market access initiatives and strategic partnerships.

Accuracy of forecasting and demand planning metrics.

Commercial excellence KPIs (e.g., sales force productivity, territory alignment).

What makes you successful:

Proven experience in commercial leadership within healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sectors.

Strong expertise in market access, strategic planning, and commercial execution.

Deep understanding of Irish healthcare systems, reimbursement pathways, and procurement frameworks.

Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and delivering growth in complex environments.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Proven experience in med tech, pharma, or medical devices; HSE knowledge essential.

Strong understanding of the Irish health system, policy, and market dynamics.

Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership skills.

5-8 years people management experience.

Bonus: Experience in diabetes care.
