In this pivotal role, you’ll design and implement strategies that elevate operational performance, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and unlock innovation across our network. From safety and sustainability to customer value and cutting-edge processes—your leadership will set the benchmark for excellence.

What you will be doing

As a leader in Operational Excellence and Quality, you’ll drive performance, innovation, and resilience across OCC South. Your key responsibilities include:

Designing and leading a quality framework aligned to ISO 9001, improving customer service and CI/CML outcomes.

Leading continuous improvement initiatives

Coaching the team, building a high-performance culture focused on safety, collaboration, and accountability.

Monitoring KPIs, supporting regulatory submissions, and leading audits and compliance reviews.

Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver data-driven improvements.

Supporting operational change, and contributing to emergency planning.

Driving governance and safety by managing non-conformances and embedding corrective actions.

What you will bring

We’re seeking a confident, strategic leader with deep expertise in quality, performance, and operational excellence—ideally within the energy or utilities sector.

What you’ll need to thrive:

Sharp analytical skills, tech-savvy with data tools, and a proactive mindset for driving change.

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership abilities.

Proven experience in quality management, compliance, and performance delivery across Transmission, Distribution, or Generation.
