Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CT Technologist for night shifts in a Level I trauma emergency room setting with ARRT and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Position is based in an inpatient hospital environment, primarily covering the Emergency Room and Operating Room

Facility is a Level I trauma center with stroke accreditation and serves a diverse patient population, including the adult ICU

Performs CT scans on abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion

Uses Siemens CT equipment and Epic charting system

Scheduled for 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every third weekend rotation, including Friday and Saturday

On-call requirement of one 24-hour shift every six weeks

Primary responsibilities include performing CT scans, operating equipment, maintaining imaging quality, and ensuring patient comfort during procedures

Must accurately maintain records and adhere to regulatory guidelines

Work as part of a multidisciplinary emergency and inpatient team in a fast-paced environment

Participation in on-call and weekend rotation is required

First-time travelers are considered

Locals are accepted at the same rate

Former employees eligible if separated for at least 6 months

Time-off requests must be declared prior to contract initiation

Urgent completion of Ohio fingerprinting is required upon contract signing

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required

BLS and ARRT certifications required; advanced ARRT certification preferred

Experience with Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure

References required: two professional, including at least one from a supervisor or manager

License required if applicable
